About the founder

Dr. Danielle Rae Daniel


Dr. Danielle Rae Daniel earned a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. She also completed a Masters of Social Work degree at San Diego State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Her studies and clinical work have focused on trauma, suicidal ideation and crisis intervention. She has worked mostly with high risk populations among adolescents and active or retired military.

She is a leading pioneer in the field of alternative and complementary medicine integrating emotional aromatherapy as a valuable intervention for mental health.

Dr. Danielle speaks globally on the benefits of aromatherapy and mental health combining her passion for the neuroscience of the brain with the science of nature.

She has been invited to speak in hospitals and clinics training medical professionals on the integration of essential oils as a complement to traditional modalities. She also has authored curriculum for professional courses to train health care providers on the research and effective intervention of aromatherapy

Dr. Danielle completed her doctoral dissertation and research project studying the effects of bergamot essential oil with PTSD symptomology. She is a published author in the American Journal of Qualitative Research. Access and download this article free
